Description & Details

  • Invoke celestial sound frequencies of Goddess Hathor with our handmade Temple singing bowls!
  • Made to order in 100% Clear Quartz Crystal infused with Titanium
  • Exact Size and Colour will vary slightly as each bowl is handmade
  • All Temple of Bowls singing bowls are made to play in the 432 frequency spectrum by default. However, if you are a concert musician or the majority of your other sound healing instruments are in 440 Hz, we would recommend you order your Bowl in 440 Hz so that the sound is consistent. Please include this as a note with your order (there is no additional cost).
  • We are proud to say that our singing bowls are designed for sound healers, by sound healers.
  • Although many crystal singing bowls are made of clear quartz, they are not all made equal - the quality of workmanship and sound quality is exceptional in our Temple of Bowls singing bowls . Elsa personally tried crystal singing bowls from several makers before finding a one that she was happy to put her name to.
  • Temple of Bowls singing bowls have been created with the ceremonial intention to support you on your divine mission as a sound healer or Priestess/Priest working with the healing powers of sound. We hope you will love working with your singing bowls in ceremony and ritual for many years to come!
  • We include a padded carry case with every single purchase of a singing bowl, so that you can take your bowl with you safely and easily on all of your travels!

FAQs & Shipping:

How are Temple Bowls made?

Our Temple Bowls crystal singing chalices & bowls are made in an alchemical process. The crystal bowls are made using silica quartz sand that is melted down and infused with titanium before being shaped into bowls and laser engraved with our unique sigils. This process takes several weeks and every single bowl is unique, meaning the colour and exact shape / sound will vary.

How will I know how to play my bowl?

Good news! With our Temple Bowls Digital Mini-Course (included with every bowl purchase), you can get started on your sound healing journey with singing bowls with confidence. The Temple Bowls Mini-Course includes detailed videos showing you how to care for your new bowl, play your bowl and call in the spirit of your bowl in an opening ceremony.

How long will it take to make + ship my Temple Bowl?

If your bowl is in stock at our Glastonbury headquarters and you live in the UK, we will ship your bowl directly to you (1-2 week delivery time). You can also pick-up your bowl in-person if you wish in Glastonbury by selecting Local Pickup at checkout. If you live outside the UK or your bowl is not currently in stock, your bowl will be made to order and shipped directly to you. This process takes an estimated 3-5 weeks to complete. We will contact you as soon as your bowl is being shipped to you with a tracking number.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is calculated at checkout, and is charged at a flat rate for UK / non-UK addresses.  Please note that for all orders outside the UK, VAT/customs duties may be payable by the customer to receive your bowl. We advise you to check the regulations for your country prior to placing your order.

Your crystal singing bowl will be shipped in its padded bag that you can use to carry your bowl and comes with a mallet for playing.

All orders are final, and we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges except in rare cases, as we will begin the process of creating your bowl as soon as we receive your order.

In the rare case your crystal bowl arrives broken, please take photos showing the broken bowl in its packaging and inform us right away. We can either provide you with a refund or an exchange for a new bowl. If your bowl breaks after arrival, we are not able to replace your bowl.

What is the difference between a chalice, a sitting bowl and a practitioner bowl?

These are the three types of crystal singing bowl that we currently produce at Temple Bowls. A chalice is a handheld singing bowl with a larger handle and a flat bottom, meaning it can be stood upright and is in the shape of a goblet/chalice. A practitioner bowl is similar to a chalice except it has a long, thin handle for holding and must be stored with the bowl side down. A sitting bowl has a flat bottom and must be sat on the ground while playing.

We recommend chalices to Priestesses, Priests, singers and sound healers who are dynamic movers or dancers and wish to move while playing their singing bowl, creating a 3D sound. Practitioner Bowls are slightly lighter in weight than chalices so we recommend this type of bowl for those who are doing long sound healing treatments. Sitting bowls are perfect to use during sound baths and sound treatments in combination with our other bowls.
