The Hathor Collection

“The Mistress of Music for whose ka one lays
We praise your majesty every day
From dusk until the Earth grows light,
We rejoice in your countenance, O Mistress of Dendera.
We praise you with song.”

– Hymn of the Seven Hathors, Dendera Temple (Egypt)

At this time on Earth, the 7 Hathors are being awakened once more through our song, tone and sound, reconnecting us with the primordial note of creation – the Divine Mother herself.

Our Hathor collection has been designed to support your divine service as a Priestess or Sound Healer Musician of Hathor.

Our Hathor design is encoded with the 7 Stars of the Pleaides, and adorned with the 8-pointed Star of Venus. Her hands bear the healing Spirals of creation, reconnecting you with your source essence.

Lady of the Stars, Hathor beckons you into Her service, and to remember your power of sacred sound.

Our Story…

Avalon Sacred Sounds

Temple of Bowls is lovingly designed by…

Elsa Field & Akara Heart

Temple of Bowls is a collaboration birthed by Elsa Field & Akara Heart in 2023. Based in Glastonbury UK, the heart Chakra of Gaia and mystical land of Avalon, we are both passionate sound healers and Priestesses. Our collaboration weaves the alchemy of the Temple Singer and Temple Dancer together, through an ancient sisterhood connection.

For years, it’s been our dream to design clear quartz singing bowls embued with Divine frequencies. We can’t wait to share these beautiful bowls with you! It’s our dearest wish that these divine frequencies inspire and uplift your journey with sacred sound, as they have done ours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answering the most common questions we get about our Crystal Singing Bowls…

How do I know which Temple of Bowls singing bowl is right for me?

We invite you to visit the product pages of each singing bowl in our signature Hathor collection, and listen to the sound clips / videos of each bowl to see which bowl’s frequency calls to you.

Each bowl has the pure frequency aligned to a particular note of the scale and a particular chakra of the body.

If you work with or are healing a particular chakra you could purchase a bowl aligned to that chakra. For instance, if you are seeking womb healing, listen to Hathor’s Blue Light Chalice in D (D is aligned to the sacral chakra). If you are opening your heart chakra, listen to Hathor’s Blue Light Practitioner Bowl/Hathor’s Cosmic Light Chalice in F#/F (aligned to the (higher) heart chakra).

What is so special about Temple of Bowls singing bowls compared to other crystal singing bowls?

Our crystal singing bowls are made from 100% pure clear quartz alchemically infused with titanium, the latter of which gives them their incredible colours – combining sound therapy with colour therapy. This makes the sound exceptionally pure to use in sound healing practice for yourself and others. This is why we are proud to say that our Temple Bowls are designed for sound healers, by sound healers.

Although many crystal singing bowls are made of clear quartz, they are not all made equal – the quality of workmanship and sound quality is exceptional in our Temple Bowls. Elsa personally tried crystal singing bowls from several makers before finding a one that she was happy to put her name to.

Temple of Bowls has been created with the ceremonial intention to support you on your divine mission as a sound healer or Priestess/Priest working with the healing powers of sound. We hope you will love working with your crystal singing bowls in ceremony and ritual for many years to come!

How are Temple of Bowls singing bowls made?

Our Temple of Bowls crystal singing chalices & bowls are made in an alchemical process. The crystal bowls are made using silica quartz sand that is melted down and infused with titanium before being shaped into bowls and laser engraved with our unique sigils. This process takes several weeks and every single bowl is unique, meaning the colour and exact shape / sound will vary.

Can I listen to the bowl before purchasing it?

Yes, on each product page you’ll find a high-quality audio sound clip of that singing bowl, so you can experience the frequency before purchasing!

How will I know how to play my bowl?

Good news! With our Temple of Bowls Mini-Course (included with every bowl purchase), you can get started on your sound healing journey with singing bowls with confidence. The Temple of Bowls Mini-Course includes detailed videos showing you how to care for your new bowl, play your bowl and call in the spirit of your bowl in an opening ceremony.

How long will it take to make + ship my Temple Bowl?

If your bowl is in stock at our Glastonbury headquarters and you live in the UK, we will ship your bowl directly to you (1-2 week delivery time). You can also pick-up your bowl in-person if you wish in Glastonbury by selecting Local Pickup at checkout. If you live outside the UK or your bowl is not currently in stock, your bowl will be made to order and shipped directly to you. This process takes an estimated 3-5 weeks to complete. We will contact you as soon as your bowl is being shipped to you with a tracking number.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is calculated at checkout, and is charged at a flat rate for UK / non-UK addresses.  Please note that for all orders outside the UK, VAT/customs duties may be payable by the customer to receive your bowl. We advise you to check the regulations for your country prior to placing your order.

Your crystal singing bowl will be shipped in its padded bag that you can use to carry your bowl and comes with a mallet for playing.

All orders are final, and we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges except in rare cases, as we will begin the process of creating your bowl as soon as we receive your order.

In the rare case your crystal bowl arrives broken, please take photos showing the broken bowl in its packaging and inform us right away. We can either provide you with a refund or an exchange for a new bowl. If your bowl breaks after arrival, we are not able to replace your bowl.

What is the difference between a chalice, a sitting bowl and a practitioner bowl?

These are the three types of crystal singing bowl that we currently produce at Temple of Bowls. A chalice is a handheld singing bowl with a larger handle and a flat bottom, meaning it can be stood upright and is in the shape of a goblet/chalice. A practitioner bowl is similar to a chalice except it has a long, thin handle for holding and must be stored with the bowl side down. A sitting bowl has a flat bottom and must be sat on the ground while playing.

We recommend chalices to Priestesses, Priests, singers and sound healers who are dynamic movers or dancers and wish to move while playing their singing bowl, creating a 3D sound. Practitioner Bowls are slightly lighter in weight than chalices so we recommend this type of bowl for those who are doing long sound healing treatments. Sitting bowls are perfect to use during sound baths and sound treatments in combination with our other bowls.

I am a singer, which bowl is right for me?

We recommend one of our practitioner bowls or chalices for singers, as you can hold them while singing, standing or sitting. You can also work with your chalice/practitioner bowl to activate your voice, by playing it over and around your throat chakra as you sing, tone and sound. In this way you’ll also activate the unique frequencies and harmonics of the bowl by interacting with your own voice.

I am a sound healer, which bowl is right for me?

We recommend our 3 or 5 bowl set if you wish to expand your sound healing practice. Watch this video where Elsa plays the entire set, illustrating the different intervals and healing frequencies activated when playing 3 or 5 bowls together.

I already have several singing bowls. Which bowl(s) should I get to add to my collection?

Depending on which bowls you already have and which frequency spectrum they are in (e.g. 440 or 432 Hz), we would recommend choosing bowls first based on any notes that are missing from your current set. Our 3-bowl set contains notes C, D and F in a sitting bowl, chalice and practitioner bowl respectively, and is designs to be a complete mico-set of bowls, or you could choose one of our stunning chalices to add as a standalone, to play with other instruments or voice.

Which frequency are Temple of Bowls singing bowls made in?

All Temple of Bowls singing bowls are made to play in the 432 frequency spectrum by default. However, if you are a concert musician or the majority of your other sound healing instruments are in 440 Hz, we would recommend you order your Temple Bowl in 440 Hz so that the sound is consistent. Please include this as a note with your order (there is no additional cost).

Elsa is also happy to connect on a complimentary 1-1 basis with anyone who purchases a Temple of Bowls singing bowl and wishes to come for an in-person masterclass to learn how to play your bowl.
